We generally do not combine personal and non-personal information, however should personal and non-personal information be combined, it will be treated as personal information as per section 3.

Our newsletter and updates contain “click-through URL” links to content on our website. When you click one of the links to our website, we track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular articles and content. This helps us improve the newsletter. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, please do not click on the links provided in the newsletters. Links to third party sites on the newsletter are not tracked by us.

3.3.1 Newsletter

If you have registered to receive our newsletter, we use your personal information to provide the service. For example, we use your name to greet you in the newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can opt out at any time by cancelling your registration.

3.3.2 Online Shopping

The personal information we receive during online shopping, we use to provide the service. In order to provide you with the shopping service we need to share all or some of your personal information with third parties such as your bank, the delivery service we make us of and customs offices.

3.3.3 Other

We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as data analysis and research to improve our content, services and customer communications.

We may use your personal information to e-mail you, from time to time, important notices, such as changes to our Terms of Use, registration requirements, and updates on changes to the service you have registered to. As this information is important for you to use the service(s) you have registered for, you may not opt out of receiving such communication, as long as you are a registered user.

When you follow a link to an outside website, you are leaving our website and are subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of the outside Website(s). We have no control over linked websites and therefore cannot be responsible for the privacy practices used by linked websites. Our website is not directed at children and minors. We are committed to comply with all applicable Namibian laws aimed at the protection of children and in particular the protection of their personal information.

If we learn that anybody under the age of 18, has registered to any of the services provided on the website, we will disable their account immediately. In case of any person being under the age of 16, we will also immediately deleted all personal information.
